PRESCHOOL

We are an institution that provides its students with Bicultural Education, forming students with values, highlighting their knowledge and skills.


In our Preschool educational level we develop Training Fields of Language and Communication (Reading and Writing), Mathematical Thinking, Exploration and Understanding of the World, as well as Areas of Personal and Social Development through Art, Socio-emotional Education and Physical Education.

At this level we highlight in the student:
 

  • The psychomotor area

  • Cognitive and sensory-perceptive skill

  • The emotional – social area

  • Space-time notions

  • Expressive and comprehensive language

  • Logical-mathematical thinking Through the use of platforms such as: Mathseeds, Brain Pop and Vocabulary Kids A-Z

 
Each group is attended by a regular teacher and an assistant teacher.
 

First grade: 90% English and 10% Spanish


Second and Third grade: 50% English and 50% Spanish


Introduction to French

We have:

  • Early stimulation neuromotor gym

  • Nursing area

  • Psychological Support

  • Formation of values

  • School for parents

To reinforce the curricular load we carry out different activities that enrich the student's growth, for example:
Academic work mornings with Parents, to observe the progress of the students, Gastronomic Fair, Mexican Fair, Book Fair, Storytelling, Harvest Celebration, Thanksgiving Day, Spelling Bee Contest and Sience Fair among others.

Schedule:

9:00 to 13:00 hrs.

Registration requirements:

  • The child must be 3, 4 or 5 years old by December 31, depending on the grade they wish to enter, first, second or third.

  • Diagnostic evaluation

 

Stationery required:

  • Recent original birth certificate

  • Copy of CURP for student and parents

  • Copy of vaccination record

  • 2 badge-sized black and white photographs

  • Proof of assignment

  • Good conduct letter

  • Registration application

  • Evaluation report of the degree completed

The Instituto Bilingüe La Silla conducts an interview with the applicant's parents to obtain a general understanding of the future student's academic history.


The academic exams for New Entry allow us to have a diagnostic impression of the level with which we receive our applicants, it also gives us the opportunity to identify the areas that require reinforcement as well as make suggestions that favor the student's performance in order to guarantee the best use of our students.


The evaluation carried out by the Department of Psychology allows us to know the environment of our future student, the maturational level and the socio-emotional management with which they are directed.


Once the evaluation process is completed and the corresponding paperwork has been delivered, the Director of the level will deliver the academic results and grant the Registration Pass, then fill out the Registration Application and go to the General Offices to conclude the process.

Procedure for re-registrations or re-entries
 

The re-enrollment of students is carried out automatically to the next school grade, unless expressly requested by the parent or guardian.


Payment can be made from the NEMAX platform or go to the School Control Department in the General Offices.
